May reports!

Time is racing, as it does when you are having fun. Assessments are completed and so is reporting to whanau (families).

Its time to look at the data.

Our 2015 reports measure student achievement against the National Standard after 2 years at school. In Reading the National Standard is level 17-18.

My reading OTJ (overall teacher judgement)

The graph shows 9 students achieving well below the National Standard and 14 students working below the National Standard.

My data highlights the gap that needs to be closed in order for students of this community to reach the National Standard. On a brighter note, all students are making positive progress. I anticipate that by the end of the year several students will have met the National Standard in reading and most students who are achieving well below the National Standard will move to below.
